October 2024
From October 14, 2024, to November 8, 2024, the statue of the Blessed Mother Mary will be carried and transported to different DIS offices. This is part of the month-long celebration for October, traditionally dedicated to the Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This is primarily because the liturgical feast of Our Lady of the Rosary is celebrated annually on October 7.
The Campus Ministry Head Sr. Rosa Dabhi, CCV, and her team gathered around the initial office, then a short procession ensued to transport the statue of Mother Mary to the next office. The procession is a solemn march of the school community to show respect to Mother Mary. It is done in the morning immediately after the first bell.
As soon as the statue reaches the next office, the Morning Prayer is recited by the whole community. Prayer intentions are recited as well. Each office has a specific prayer intention that concerns it. An altar welcomes Mother Mary in every office.
The schedule of the visit and the office's intentions are as follows.
